Art Show! Everyone

Elementary art work will once again be on display in the second ever art exposition beginning April 28th.  This year's art show entitled "Old World Arts" will showcase various decorative arts through out history.  The exhibit's highlights will include First Graders cave paintings and Zulu coils; Second Graders pottery, beadwork, and stained glass; Third Graders weaving, quilting, and applique; Fourth Graders mosaics, frescoes, and painted tiles; and Fifth Graders mosaics, batik, and tie-dye.  Also on display will be special projects done by Kindergartners and other students including line and shape studies, pattern designs, and much, much more!  Students learned a lot of history this year as we explored the arts of the old world. Everyone in Kindergarten through Fifth grade will have work on display!  Take the opportunity and check out our "Old World Arts" exhibition 2008! P.S.  Monetary donations in support of our art program and the wish to 'wire the art room' will be accepted and greatly appreciated!  Look for the donation jar at the show!!
